RENZO. Magazine

RENZO. was one of my first graphic design projects during my course. The assignment was to create a fictional magazine based on a topic of my choice. I chose technology, something that interested me then and still does today. The magazine was named after me because it felt like the start of something new. RENZO. represents the moment when my creativity, interests and design style came together as one.

The result is a simple yet thoughtful cover and spread, where I experimented with composition, typography and atmosphere. Small in scale, but an important step in my career.

RENZO. is more than just a project from my first course. It truly felt like the beginning of my professional journey in graphic design. At that time, I was fully exploring my own style and figuring out how I wanted to tell stories visually. I deliberately chose technology as the theme because it has fascinated me for years, from the latest innovations to their impact on our daily lives.

By naming the magazine after myself, I made the project more personal. It became a starting point where my ideas, interests and visual preferences came together in one design for the first time.

The design itself is intentionally simple, featuring a cover and a spread. In this project, I experimented with different techniques and played with composition and typography to create an atmosphere that suits the theme. Though small in scale, it was a valuable experience.
